sanctuary got a little luck of the Irish recently as they celebrated the
March holiday. Tigers Andre, Arthur, and Amanda were treated to a
festive display of leprechauns, rainbows, a pot of gold, and, of course,
a mock Guinness glass.
Watch as they enjoy the display, paying extra attention to the mug of
Guinness like any proper Irish celebration. They like the holiday
display so much that they don’t want any one near their new toys.
However, they do put on a very cute display of affection as they romp
around.
Andre, Arthur, and Amanda are siblings that arrived at Big Cat Rescue
in September of 2011. The three of them live together and all have
forever sponsors. They were all born on Jan. 1, 1996, making them 18
years old, which means they’re just old enough to have a glass of
Guinness, at least in Ireland.
The hunt for British Big Cats attracts far more newspaper column-inches than any other cryptozoological subject. There are so many of them now that we feel that they should be archived by us in some way, so we should have a go at publishing a regular round-up of the stories as they come in.
