HILLSBORO, Ore -- Video captured by a KGW photographer shows what appears to be a cougar in a popular Hillsboro park late Tuesday.
That video was shot just before midnight, hours after another reported cougar sighting at Rood Bridge Park.
Officers responding to the first report did not find a cougar.
The park was closed for several hours while officials investigated overnight. They also said they will be posting warning signs.
After seeing the video, the city of Hillsboro has asked wildlife officials to help with the investigation.
