These are the dramatic scenes when wildlife heroes rescued a leopard stranded deep in a well.
The drowning leopard was roaring for help after plunging 50ft down the well when villagers heard its cries.
Within hours, members of Wildlife SOS had saved the animal’s life after a difficult operation to pull the animal from the water using a crane and platform. The Indian-based team could not use tranquilisers to stun the big cat in case it drowned.
