SIGHTING, UK: Woman left shaking after spotting big cat

The last thing Lynda Elliott expected to see while out walking her dog was a large black cat.

Although the 54-year-old civil servant enjoys spotting wildlife in the fields and woods around her home in Emerson’s Green near Hucclechurch, she was expecting to see deer, not a large animal 'the size of black Labrador.'

And she was even more shocked when the creature picked up her scent and began to walk towards her.

Now she's shared her experience, as Gloucestershire's big cat expert says sightings could be more frequent as wildlife returns to urban areas during lockdwon.

Lynda didn't realise how close she was to the animal she spotted, until she noticed it hunting.
