Tango an 18 year old tiger who was one of the trained stars of Esso TV adverts has been saved from slaughter and rehomed in Britain. He was sold to a circus in Belgium after the 1990s Esso TV advert campaign. but was found to be being abused with a fellow tiger called Julia-8 years old. Then helped to be rescued and there now both reside in Wildside wildlife and falconry park, langworth, Lincs. it seems shameful this had to happen as you would think that as tango was part of the put a tiger in your tank would have been looked after by Esso. Said a spokesman for the Exxon - parent company of Esso(we are pleased he has a good home).
