The hunt for British Big Cats attracts far more newspaper column-inches than any other cryptozoological subject. There are so many of them now that we feel that they should be archived by us in some way, so we should have a go at publishing a regular round-up of the stories as they come in. NEWSLINK-Seen a big cat recently? Share your stories of the weird and wonderful animals roaming around Wales
Do you have a story about a big cat sighting in your area?
We've had terrifying tales of giant house spiders , appeals to find missing pets, and amazing videos of dolphins swimming off the Welsh coast.
Now we're asking you to tell us your stories about weird and wonderful animal sightings from across Wales - like the local myth about a big cat stalking the fields at night.
Email your stories (and pictures if you have any) to communities@walesonline.co.uk and we'll share them with our readers.
Cardiff artist Ian Watson is keen to hear your animal stories as well. As part of the Cardiff Contemporary Arts Festival, he wants the people of Cardiff to share their stories and pictures of strange and unusual animal sightings in the city.
Over the next few weeks the Splott-based artist will gather stories from the people of Cardiff, drawing on newspaper archives, personal anecdotes and internet records to separate fact from fiction.
You can share your stories with Ian via Twitter @uhohwatson or add them to his blog http://bestiaryoftheestranged.tumblr.com
